Brave Soles

Brave Soles focuses on ethically sourced and sustainable footwear and accessories made from upcycled materials. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, their beautiful sandals feature locally sourced leather and upcycled tire soles, while their accessories incorporate elements of reclaimed leather from plane seats and accents made from motorbike inner tubes.

Working around the world and with landfill workers in the Dominican Republic since 2005, founder, Christal Earle, was inspired to source reclaimed tires from landfills—giving them new life as upcycled tire soles for their sandals using sustainable processes. Using small-scale production and partnering with local artisans and suppliers, Brave Soles ensures quality craftsmanship, while contributing to local employment and community development.
